Germanwings expands in Hungary with new Sármellék-Destinations
First flight was on 18 June from Cologne/Bonn, Gyula Grosics and Jenő Buzánszky greeted the PR Director of Germanwings
Germanwings increases the number of flights to Hungary as the airline starts the operation of flights to Sármellék from Cologne/Bonn and Berlin airports in the summer timetable. Ideal flight schedule for summer weekend-trips to the North-Rhine Westphalia and Berlin region.
Gyula Grosics and Jenő Buzánszky, famous players of the Hungarian Golden Team greeted Andreas Engel, the PR Director of Germanwings at FlyBalaton airport and at the end of the press conference they gave a copy of the ball of the World Championship in 1954 in miniature signed by themselves to the representative of the airline.
Between June 18 and September 24, 2007 two weekly flights will be operated between Cologne/Bonn and Sármellék, the nearest airport to the Balaton region. The flights will deliver passengers on Mondays and Saturdays in the afternoon between the two cities.
On July 6, Germanwings will further increase the number of flights to Sármellék, as the airline will operate flights from Berlin to the Balaton region until August 31. The two weekly flights will be operated on Fridays and Sundays in the afternoon hours.
Now Germanwings offers for the inhabitants of Berlin or Cologne/Bonn and for those who live in the vicinity of any of the two airports direct flights to the Balaton and to the thermal baths in the surrounding areas. And the inhabitants of the Balaton region can now reach Cologne, Bonn, Düsseldorf, Aachen and the German capital city Berlin with direct flights at a price starting from EUR 19 per route.
